1.Cautions: Thing need to know

  • Find an easy-to-clean place to work when working with ink.
  • Most of the refillable cartridges & the cartridges come with the ciss that have auto reset chips cannot be mixed with original cartridges; the same situation applies for the non-auto reset chip cartridges.
  • Do not use any software and / or chip re setters to reset the chips as it may damage the auto reset chips.
  • During printing do not disturb the external ink tank.
  • Leave the external ink tank at the same level (see picture above).
  • Do not tear off the seal at the bottom of the cartridges.
  • Do not touch or scrape the chips.

Prepare Printer

  • Check the printer status to see whether it is normal or not, and check its mechanics for smooth and any damage.
  • Printer a test sheet on the nozzle check to see if any gaps appear on the lines in the printout , Please check your printer manual on information how to printer out the nozzle test page.
  • If the printer show that broken line, do the printer head cleaning till those are good.
  • If the printer is alright then follow the step below for the installation instruction

Note: The ink system will not cause any damage to your printer.


Installation Procedures

Step 1:
* Place the ink system on the side of the printer.
* Press ink cartridge change button located on the front of the printer or please check your printer manual for the instruction. The cartridges will move to the changing position.
Remove the original cartridges.
* Unplug the printer so you can easily move the printer head later

2. Locate the printer Cartridges cover lock. Insert the screwdriver in between the joint and gently remove the lock clip


3. Remove the cartridges holder cover


4.. Insert cartridges into printer. Place all four straight down into printer carriage. Starting from left to right, gently press cartridges until cartridges lock into place. Note: The cartridges maybe a little bit tight when pressing it down.Make sure that the cartridges are lock in place.


5. Attach tubing bridge by removing adhesive protector and then placing it directly across from the arrow or place a little bit to the left of the arrow. See picture on the side.. When placing the tube holder, place it an angle to ensure the tube can freely move without interfering with the cartridge holder.


6. Move the printer head carriage all the way to the right, If it appears that the tubing is too short or too long, please make adjustments by sliding the tubing to the desired amount.


7. Locate the 4 small plugs located on top of the reservoir bottle. Remove all 4 small plugs that covers the air hole. See picture on the side. Insert the air filter. Then remove the lock...


8 Plug the printer back in. Turn the printer on.
* The printer will go through normal print priming as it has now detected new cartridges in the printer. If the printer show that the cartridges are not recognize follow the extra step below.


Test printer nozzle
If it shows any breaks (it maybe caused by air bubbles in the printing head). Please do a nozzle cleaning 2 or 3 times. If it is still showing little breaks, especially for only one color please turn the printer off. It is unnecessary to repeatedly clean the printer-head. Just keep the printer unused (turned off) for about a few hours and then print the nozzle check again.


Chip reset:

When the printer ask you to replace the cartridges, press ok then follow step 11.12 above to reset the cartridges, or check out the
video
Note: If your printer gets low on ink and the printer does not ask you to replace the cartridges,do the reset step will not reset the
cartridges

Just installed my CISS on an Epson T30, followed all instructions carefully, checked for the ink levels etc..but the printer still doesn't detect the ink..did the reset a lot of times but it still doesn't work..am i missing anything or have not done anything here?or does the reset button is malfunctioning?

There are 2 thing you need 2 check
1. Make sure the system are compatible with T30
2 .Make sure you press the cartridges till it lock in place.
